Tony Ventura was born in Southampton, Long Island, NY. He attended the Academy of Arts in Newark, Pratt Institute, and the Art Students League. He has painted along the east coast from Florida to Nova Scotia and throughout the U.S. Tony has won more than one hundred awards and has been featured in magazines and books. His works are part of many private and corporate collections. Some of his memberships include the American Watercolor Society (signature member), the Hudson Valley Art Association, The Salmagundi Club, the North Shore Arts Association, Knickerbocker Artists (signature member), the American Artist Professional League, the Garden State Watercolor Society, and the New Jersey Watercolor Society (past president). Tony has a studio-gallery in Neptune, NJ where he lives and conducts classes in oils and watercolors.
