Sheila Mickle Soyster
Sheila Mickle Soyster is an artist and art teacher from Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. She received a B.A. from Millersville University and a M.A. from Kean University. Sheila teaches art and art history at Point Pleasant Borough High School and is an adjunct art professor at Ocean County College. She works in a variety of artistic media, including watercolor, oils, pen and ink, and calligraphy. Her paintings, rendered in a realistic style, often focus on the ever-changing vistas of the Jersey Shore. Sheila’s work has been published in numerous publications and can be seen at local art exhibitions and retail stores as well as on theatrical sets and several Point Pleasant area murals.
