Steve Kuzma is a full time fine artist, illustrator, and educator. He graduated from Parsons School of Design and continued his education abroad in Paris and Sienna. In the 1980s, Steve worked as a sports illustrator in New York City. Recently, he has been painting with less toxic materials and exploring nature, mystical objects, and divine inspiration. Considered to be a “contemporary impressionist,” his self-created style involves layering different types of media, removing some of the pigment, and then replacing that with another layer creating a luminous, life-like effect. Steve has received numerous awards and grants, and his paintings are held in private and corporate collections. Born in Philadelphia, Steve now lives “down the shore” in Ventnor, NJ. He maintains studios in Millville, Somers Point, and Atlantic City.
